A Journey through History, Nature, and Breathtaking Views
We will guide you along the royal Tratturo Pescasseroli-Candela, evoking the ancient practice of transhumance, recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity. Reaching the back of Mount Molara, an ancient cart track will allow us to gently ascend to its summit, where peace, tranquility, and a breathtaking view of the village will warm our spirits.
Medium difficulty hike E (Escursionistica)
Route
15 km loop with a 500 m elevation gain, near the village of Zungoli. The hike will cross a section of the Tratturo and ascend to the summit of Mount Molara at an altitude of 940 m above sea level, before returning to the starting point.

Equipment
Trekking shoes, layered clothing, rain poncho, hat, backpack, spare clothes to leave in the car, sunscreen, 1.5 liters of water, light packed lunch.
